Taking “Snow Angel” to a whole new level

There are certain things that will always draw me in.  A day with long shadows on pretty uneven surfaces, any surface with a good (or sometimes a bad) reflection, wrought iron balconies and fields of wildflowers.  A Catholic cemetery in the snow?  Right around the corner from my house?  I have been waiting for this day since we moved in six months ago.

Whomever plowed out the cemetery this morning kindly did so to (almost) all of the really interesting statues, and for that I will be eternally thankfully.  That and a 35 degree day that felt almost too warm for my wool pea-coat and the bright cloudy day which created an abundance of ambient light without reflecting harshly off of the fresh snow.  I’d almost take back all of the complaints about the snow storms we’ve been having.  Almost…
